RivelinCo and their events have been a really important part of creating a new, better type of neighbourhood which I think has emerged from the pandemic – a focus on our community and a demonstration that culture, art, and community doesn’t just have to be for the richer areas of the city.
I love that we can walk to these events. We don’t have a car and can’t afford to get into town and pay for expensive tickets. They make it possible to have family fun on our doorstep, and it’s so much more affordable.
RivelinCo has started to become the heart of Hillsborough, like a focal point. It’s lovely to see more activities popping up, especially as they’re so accessible.
I had a creative experience with RivelinCo, which I’ve not really ever had the opportunity to have or do before. Now I’m trying new things a lot more often!
Getting involved with RivelinCo has inspired me to think really differently about the area that I live in, and is now a really important part of making me feel grounded and welcome here.
