We are looking to recruit one or two new people into our pool of Casual Arts Support Workers and Events Assistants, and are particularly interested in meeting people who have regular Saturday availability.

Arts Support Workers are responsible for supporting and assisting artist-facilitators in workshop sessions, and ensuring audiences and participants are warmly welcomed to our events. You will set up and pack down spaces, greet people, take registers and payments, coordinate refreshments, make conversation and support participants with activities during the sessions.

We need people who are creative, hands-on, and enthusiastic about the transformational power of creativity in the community. Shifts will vary from supporting one-off creative workshops to full day events. This role could suit:

  • people from the health/care or hospitality sectors who would like to apply their transferable skills to working in the arts
  • local people who are enthusiastic about their community

We are an age-friendly employer, which means we welcome workers of all ages including ages 5-+ into our workforce. Most importantly we are looking for people with a positive attitude who are able to build relationships with people of all ages and walks of life.
