Finance and Administration Coordinator

Job description

This is a new role for our small organisation, and will encompass a broad range of financial and administration tasks carried out on a small scale: from bookkeeping, to coordinating data for funder reports, to helping to implement office systems. The primary focus for the role will be financial, and as we transition to charity status you’ll help us uphold our values of honest, ethical and transparent financial practices, while helping us make our day-to-day financial processes more efficient.

We are a small, busy creative team, and so in all our team members we are looking for people with a positive attitude who feel excited about the work we do, and care about the area and the community we work with.

The role is 8 hours per week, but is flexible: we are open to it being one full day, or to be split across two days to accommodate e.g. school runs. We would prefer the role to usually work from our office in Hillsborough, but we operate a Flexible Working Policy so occasional remote working is OK too.
