Meet our team! Introducing our staff team who plan and deliver the majority of our work day-to-day.

Linda Bloomfield


Linda (she/her) is RivelinCo's Founding Director, and lives in Hillsborough with her dog and two cats. She has led large-scale arts, culture and community projects with the National Theatre, British Library, the Albany, Future Arts Centres and others, as well as projects with libraries, schools and councils across the UK and Europe, South Africa and Japan. In 2021 she was granted a Clore Excellerate Fellowship, acknowledging her work as an 'exceptional cultural leader'. She loves gardening, dumplings, dinosaurs, and dungarees!

Emily Thew

Programme Manager

Emily (she/her) joined RivelinCo in 2022. She grew up in Sheffield and has lived here most of her life. Emily has worked in exciting roles across the community, voluntary and arts sectors, and has a huge range of experience in workshop facilitation, research and evaluation, and creative project management. Emily has a special interest in accessibility, as well as in the links between creativity and wellbeing. She also loves gardens, books, and eating crisps.

Grace Darbyshire

Youth Engagement Coordinator

Grace (she/her) joined RivelinCo in 2023. She grew up in West and East Yorkshire, but has lived in lovely South Yorkshire for over a decade. Her background is in creative workshop facilitation, project coordination and community engagement, as well as writing and performance. She has delivered creative projects with people of all ages and backgrounds, and is passionate about transforming every day locations into spaces that are accessible, joyful and immersive. Grace also loves pottering around her allotment, wild swimming, and making things.

Mohammed Ahmed

Finance and Administration Coordinator

Mohammed has lived in Sheffield most of his life, and has worked in various finance roles in both the private and voluntary sector. He loves working with organisations that are making a difference to the lives of local people and communities. Outside work, his life is dedicated to his family and a passion for football and gardening.

Amber Scarfe

Youth Worker

Amber (she/her) joined RivelinCo in 2023, and has previous youth work experience in creative sessions and mental health participation, and as a Children's Wellbeing Practitioner providing therapy for young people. She is also a talented graphic designer and budding artist, and loves spending time in nature, foraging, and cooking tasty meals.

Emily Hearne

Stannington ERF Project Manager

Emily (she/her) joined RivelinCo in 2024, to lead the Economic Recovery Fund project in Stannington alongside local people and businesses.

Arts Support Workers

We are delighted to be working with a brilliant team of Casual Arts Support Workers: friendly faces who you'll regularly see setting up and supporting our events and activities. Our Arts Support Worker pool currently includes Alice Connolly, Alison Calverley, Amy Paget, Amy Palmer, Dean Khair, Jack Latham, Jacqueline Moore, Lydia Allison, Max Munday, Ruth Hepworth, and Sue Taylor.

Our Board meet quarterly to govern the organisation. They are critical friends who support and advocate for our work, challenge our decisions when necessary, and monitor our planning and finances to make sure we are stable, sustainable, and serving our charitable goals and the best interests of our beneficiaries.

Judith Harry


Judith joined the RivelinCo Board as Chair in 2023. She is the Executive Director at Site Gallery in Sheffield, and before that was Deputy Director at Ikon in Birmingham for 5 years.

Sarah Eastaff

Sarah is thrilled to be a board member at RivelinCo. She is the Director (Arts and Education) at darts in Doncaster, leading arts activity with children, young people and families. Sarah is also a play therapist and has previously worked with schools, alternative provisions and theatres across the country. She loves to read, travel and swim and really enjoys hearing about all the great work at RivelinCo!

Nisha Kotecha

Nisha is a local resident who started writing short stories during lockdown. She is now working on her first novel. Nisha works as a Communications Officer for Transport Action Network, an organisation that campaigns for better sustainable transport. She also works as a Member Pioneer for the Co-op, helping to link the business to local charities. Nisha is the Founder of Good News Shared, a platform for uplifting charitable stories from around the world, and has created a guided gratitude journal.

Christine Welburn

Christine is a Hillsborough resident and valued RivelinCo partner and participant. She is a retired teacher, and most recently was the Chair of the Friends of Hillsborough Park.

Anna Kime

Anna is Policy Officer at the Centre for Cultural Value, and also a practicing artist based in Sheffield. Her focus areas are in audience development, evaluation and fundraising, and her artistic practice involves film, ceramics, and community projects.

Julie Mitchell

Julie is a finance professional who has worked with several large and mid scale arts and third sector organisations across South Yorkshire.

David Wing

David is a Hillsborough resident and business consultant, with a focus on technology, sustainability and renewable energy.
