Sheffield Woodshed: Fixing To Walls Course (4 Wednesday evenings)

We’re pleased to offer a space for Sheffield Woodshed to host their workshops in Hillsborough! This is a partner activity, which means it’s led by another organisation but hosted in the RivelinCo space.

Sheffield Woodshed present: Fixing To Walls!
About the course:
What size drill bit should I use to fix into a brick wall? How do I get a solid fixing in a hollow wall? How do I drill into a tile without breaking it? Which screws and rawl plugs should I use? This class covers all these questions and gives you an opportunity to have a go at fixing to solid, hollow and tiled walls to build skills and confidence so you can tackle a range of fixing jobs at home. You will also have the opportunity to put up a shelf on both fixed and adjustable brackets and see how to fit a shelf into a wonky alcove. No previous experience required.

Please note this is a 4-week evening course, so your ticket covers 4 sessions 6pm – 8pm on Wednesdays 4, 11, 18 and 25 November. The course builds from week to week, so participants ideally attend all sessions.
